I can never find 223 at walmart. Bass pro has winchester 223 9 bucks for 20 rounds. If anyone is looking for 40 cal. walmart in Fayetteville has 250 round packs for 67 bucks and 100 round 9mm for 19 bucks. as of an hour ago. I also picked up 1130 AK rounds for 350 bucks at Autreys tonight.
Thanks...I will definitely keep them in mind as an alernative.
I saw about 12 boxes of Blazer .45 at the Stone Mountain Walmart tonight.
It was like 14.95 a box.
You just have to check early and often...several stores around Atlanta metro have restocked but the ammo is flying off the shelf as quickly as they stock it.
I felt sick walking out of the Stone Mountain Wal Mart the other day no ammo while they had 12 boxes on the self. I can't justify buying more ammo to the Missus.
I am headed there and to another today...I will take the backpack in case I splurge and have to sneak mine in the house.
I picked up four boxes, (100 rounds per box) of ammo from wal-mart in North Carolina. I took my daughter back to college (NCA&T) yesterday and when I took her food shopping at walmart, I went ammo shopping
I was suprise that they had any, they had eight boxes, I wanted to get all eight but money is tight. A box of 100 rounds was $28.00 at the gun range a box of 50 rounds is $22.00 dollars.
Greetings i'm new here.My experience.
Truth is its not that walmart is not selling ammo. Its that people are buying it up and many companies that provide them are on back order. I have been to 4 different walmarts and 9mm ammo is almost non existant. I bought the last three boxes of 9mm from the one closest to me. Drove 30 min to fayetteville and when i got ther in the morning there were 3 mega packs of remmington(250rds). I didnt have enough on me cause i planned on buying less(which they did not have)
When i came back there was only one pack left. I bought it. I was in florida a week agao and the walmarts ther were low as well. i bought around six 50rd boxes while i was there. Should have got more. At the gun show in florida. the same 100rd winchester valupack thats $20 at walmart they were selling for twice that.People are worried obama is going to start taxing or requiring the registration of the ammo so they are stock piling. I'm not mad just wish i had thought of it sooner.
if anyone knows any walmarts in the atl metro area let me know.
