I just heard about this forum, although I am not new to shooting or carrying by any means. I'm a Combat Focus Shooting Instructor, NRA Tactical Shooting Instructor, NRA Handgun/Shotgun Instructor, S&W Academy Certified Instructor, and Action Target Advanced 3-gun Instructor. I've also been to Thunder Ranch and Rangemaster. In addition to that, I teach Simunitions, Defensive Tactics, and O.C. Spray. Out of all of that, my favorite topic is Close Quarters Firearms training....basically, 'gunfighting at fistfight distances'...:).
I generally carry either a Springfield XD45 Service (along with a spare mag), or a Glock 17 (along with a spare mag)....as well as a fixed blade knife, and spray. On occasion, I will carry my H&K P7......
I hope that's not too much info off the bat...guess I'm still very pleasantly 'shocked' that such a forum exists!!!
I look forward to getting into the forum and conversing on a variety of topics....
